Understanding singapore haze & air quality

The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) and one-hour PM2.5 concentration have different averaging periods and units. PM2.5 is shown in micrograms per cubic metre, not as an index. Air-quality readings alone do not establish the cause of pollution. See NEA for current advisories.

How current is this information?

Always check the forecast validity or reporting time. Older cached readings remain visible with a warning when a source is delayed or unavailable. Times use Singapore / Malaysia time (UTC+08).
